Prosecutor Christoph Stadler was skeptical of the accused's statements. “It all started in 2008 with burglaries in Romania, Belgium and Spain. I do not think the attitude of the accused has changed and that he will no longer commit crimes in the future,” the prosecutor explained.

The court's decision is not yet final. The case of this Romanian mason is not isolated. Recently, another Romanian was involved in an unusual case in Germany, where he stole his own BMW that had been stolen two months ago.
