
“The first court hearing in the case took place, in which I was informed of suspicion. Together with lawyers, we are working with the case materials. But after the first review, I can repeat what I told reporters: “The report of suspicion is unfounded,” Ermak wrote.
According to him, he is open to all procedural actions and intends to protect his rights “exclusively within the framework of the laws of Ukraine.”
Ermak also announced “unprecedented public pressure” on law enforcement agencies demanding that they serve him with suspicion.
“I am convinced that the investigation should be independent of political statements, media campaigns or any other forms of influence,” wrote the former head of the OP.
Ermak also assured that he remains in Ukraine, will continue his advocacy and plans to support military personnel and former prisoners of war.
“As a lawyer with more than 30 years of experience, I have always been guided by the law. And now I will also defend my rights, my name and my reputation,” Ermak emphasized.
