Donald Trump harshly criticized Vladimir Putin and threatened to impose new sanctions, these new statements of the US president coming after the forces of Moscow held unprecedented air attack, in which at least 12 people died, including three children.

“I am not satisfied with what Putin does. He kills a lot of people,” Trump told the press in New Jersey on Sunday, even before boarding his plane to return to his white house at his Bedminister Golf Club.

Trump: “Putin took it completely!”

“I don't know what the hell has happened with Putin. I have known him for a long time. I always got along with him. But he attacks rocket cities and kills people, and I don't like that at all. We are in the middle of a negotiation, and he shoots on Kiev and other cities,” added the US president.

Upon returning to Washington, Trump wrote on his social social network that Putin went crazy.

“I always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin from Russia, but something happened to him. He took it completely! He kills a lot of people, and I am not just about soldiers. Rockets and drones are drawn to the cities of Ukraine, for no reason. Written Trump in the message.

Zelenski, also criticized: “Everything he says causes problems”

In the same post, the US president also criticized the Ukrainian leader: “President Zelenski does not do good to his country as he does.”

“Everything that comes out of their mouth causes problems, I do not like it, and it would be good to stop. This is a war that would never have started if I was president. This is the war of Zelenski, Putin and Biden, not Trump, I just help to extinguish the big and nasal fires, which were in the social,”

The message to Zelenski comes after he had asked him to take a position against the record attack with 367 drones and rockets held by Russia against Ukraine.

“Sufficient reason for new sanctions against Russia”

“The silence of America, the silence of others in the world only encourage Putin. Every such Russian terrorist attack is a sufficient reason for new sanctions against Russia,” Zelenski wrote on Telegram.

Trump, however, understood that he would agree to taking new measures against Moscow.

“Every such Russian terrorist attack is a sufficient reason for new sanctions against Russia,” he said.

Asked if he considered several sanctions against Russia, Trump said: “absolutely”.

Attack with a record number of drones and rockets

The Russian attack was the largest in the war in terms of the number of drones and rockets launched, but more people died in other previous major attacks.

“This was a combined, ruthless blow against the civilians. The enemy once again showed that his purpose is fear and death,” the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Afforms wrote on Telegram.

The latest attack took place while Ukraine and Russia were preparing to organize the third and last day of a great prisoners' exchange, in which both parties will recover a total of 1,000 people.

Special US messenger in Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said on Sunday that the attack was “a clear violation” of the 1977 Geneva Peace Protocols and called for an immediate cessation of fire.
