The silence of the United States only encourages Putin, says Zelenski, which requires new sanctions against Russia

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski criticized the lack of reaction from the US after the massive night attack, which resulted in at least 12 dead, including children, according to Sky News.
The leader of Kiev wrote on X that “the silence of America and the silence of others in the world only encourage Putin.”
The Ukrainian president said that the targets were Kiev and 11 other regions and stressed that the victims of the attack include children.
“Every such terrorist attack from Russia is a sufficient reason for new sanctions against Russia,” Zelenski said.
Zelenski urged the “weaknesses of the Russian economy”, which, according to him, “are known by all”.
“Determination matters now – determining the United States, determining European countries and all in the world who want peace,” he wrote.
The Russians have launched the biggest air attack on Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict, a few hours before one last exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine.
It is the second night of important attacks against Ukraine, after about 250 drones and 14 ballistic missiles were detected on Friday night by Ukrainian Air Force on Saturday, most of the Ukrainian capital, AFP notes.
This time, the Ukrainian army said that the country suffered on Saturday night a combined attack with 367 projectiles, of which 69 missiles and 298 drones.
The Ukrainian air forces said that 45 of these missiles were shot down, as well as 266 drones. “Enemy aerial attacks have been reported in 22 places and falls of rocket residues and drones shot down in 15 places,” said Kiev's army.
Since mid -February, Donald Trump's American administration has multiplied calls to a cessation of fire and has approached Russia, but without conclusive results so far.
