The elected president, Nicușor Dan, arrived in Poland on Sunday to participate in a supporting meeting of the pro-European candidate, the mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski. He was greeted by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Nicuşor Dan was greeted by Donald Tusk on the red carpet, at the Warsaw government headquarters, where the two leaders shook hands. Then they went to the office of the Chancellery chief of Poland.

The two leaders will have a tête-à-tête discussion to last in half an hour.

Nicușor Dan is accompanied in Warsaw by PNL MEP Siegfried Mureșan.

Nicuşor Dan will also participate in the march of the “million hearts” with Donald Tusk and Rafał Trzaskowski, the mayor of Warsaw, Pro -European candidate for the Polish presidential elections. The meeting takes place in the Bankowy Square in Warsaw.

Then, the participants will start in a march of about 3 kilometers, to the Constitution Square in Warsaw.

Before leaving Bucharest, Dan said he wants to support the Liberal candidate Vafal Trzaskowski in the presidential elections.

“It is a meeting for democratic forces, in the elections there that will be next week. It is an electoral competition and I was invited. As they supported me, I want to support them,” said Nicuşor Dan before leaving, according to the images broadcast by Antena 3.
