On Friday, the Federal Judge ordered the administration of the President of the United States Donald Trump to facilitate the return of the Guatemian, who was deported to Mexico, despite his fears that he would be persecuted there. The authorities previously admitted that they made a mistake in his case.

Judge Brian Murphy issued such a decision a few days after the Ministry of Justice informed him that the claim that the Guatemian clearly announced that he was not afraid of sending to Mexico was based on incorrect information.
Murphy, who was appointed by the democratic predecessor of Trump, Joe Biden, called the case of the Guatemian “a nightmare”. This man is gay and, according to his lawyer, escaped from Guatemala, because he was threatened with death because of his sexual orientation. He got to the USA in May 2024 through Mexico.
Earlier, the government made a similar mistake about a resident of Maryland Kilmar Abrega Garcia, who was deported to Salvador, despite the order to protect him from expulsion. (PAP)
