Presidential debate. What did Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki talk about foreign policy?


On Friday punctually at 20 The debate started. This is a key clash between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki before the second round of presidential elections. At the beginning, the candidates took up the subject of health. There was a discussion about pandemic, privatization of hospitals, queues to doctors and in vitro.
In the second thematic block there was international policy. “Can a presidential candidate be financed by foreign capital?” – asked Karol Nawrocki at the beginning. He suggested paying the campaign of Rafał Trzaskowski, among others by the Germans. In response, he heard that nothing like that took place. Rafał Trzaskowski said he could strive for Polish interest abroad and “this is the most important thing.”
In the first question, Rafał Trzaskowski raised the topic of a huge number of visas awarded during PiS rule. “Illegal migration is a great problem. We need deportation centers” – announced Karol Nawrocki. He suggested that KO wanted to let people from exotic countries. “The border is tight. We will not let anyone in” – assured Rafał Trzaskowski.
The candidate KO spoke about the migration packet. He assured that there would be no relocation of illegal immigrants, because we accepted many Ukrainians. He pointed out that he would not support the Mercosur trade agreement. In the context of this agreement, he asked Karol Nawrocki how he would like to build a coalition in Europe in this matter. “First you need to build a coalition of states so that the cereal from Ukraine does not flood Poland,” replied Karol Nawrocki. He assured that his relationships, e.g. with Georgia, were very good.
Karol Nawrocki reminded “denunciations to Poland” to Tusk and his people when the United Right ruled. He heard the same at PiS from PiS from Rafał Trzaskowski's mouth. There was talk about how important the United States and 5 % defense expenses are for security. “In a foreign language it is worth dealing with matters for Poland” – pointed out the PiS candidate.
