Nicușor Dan says when the negotiations for the new Executive will begin. “It is important to have a majority government in Parliament.”

The elected president, Nicușor Dan, said on Saturday, after a meeting with the students, that the next day after the investment ceremony, the consultations with the pro -European parties will begin to appoint a prime minister and to form a new executive.
Asked by journalists if Ilie Bolojan remains the prime minister, Nicușor Dan answered yes, but he understood that the name of the future prime minister depends on the negotiations.
“Yes, but of course there are four parties at the table, plus minorities, and will be a discussion,” said Dan, who participated on Saturday at the Romanian Student Congress – “Student in the European Union”.
Asked how the social-democrats will be overwhelmed to enter the government, Nicușor Dan suggested that politicians must take on problems.
“I believe that we, the politicians, are here to serve the society. This is what we must be. At this moment, the society has a fiscal difficulty. The responsibility, in my opinion, of each of us, must be to engage, not to desert, to solve this problem that the society has. This is the role of politics.”
The president chosen also commented on two advanced variants of journalists: a minority government with PSD in opposition and a PSD prime minister.
“They are not the only two assumptions. I very much wish to have a government to be stable. It is an economic matter, when you design stability, the interest rates at which Romania is obliged to borrow will be lower, the investors will have a greater intention to come to Romania, because they will not have the fear because the minority may have for four months, Parliament.
The PSD asked on Thursday a constructive dialogue with the President of Romania and the other political forces and claimed that it will not negotiate anything about portfolios in the Government, according to News.ro.
The formation shows that, regardless of the final decision, the PSD will be responsible and will support the installation of a functional government.
The PSD also presents the conditions for entering the government, showing that it will not accept in any way the cutting of investments in infrastructure, in the economy and for the development programs of the local communities aimed at roads, schools, medical units, water supply and sewerage, will not support any measures that have the effect of decreasing the purchasing power and the pensioners and the employees and the employees will be it would determine the involvement of Romania in any type of military action carried out outside the NATO framework or outside the defense of the national territory.
