Bonus for choosing a pope. Leon XIV granted a considerable addition to the Vatican employees

The Vatican employees received a bonus of EUR 500 on the occasion of choosing a new pope – Leon XIV decided about it. The Ansa agency explained that the new Pope has restored the tradition of awarding such awards after the conclave, which Francis repeated earlier.

The employees of the Vatican, among whom there are many secular, received a bonus on Friday, on the eve of the audience, where they will meet with Leon XIV.

The Pope will also receive dignitaries from the Roman Curia on Saturday. (PAP)
