Defeats for Bernadette Szocs and Ovidiu Ionescu at the World Tennis Championships

Bernadette Szocs (30 years old) and Ovidiu Ionescu (35 years were eliminated from the World Table Tennis Championships. Szocs left the simple “optimal” sample, while Ionescu was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the male double.

Ovidiu Ionescu and Alvaro Robles, defeat in five sets in the “quarters” of the double test
During the evening, at the table arrived Ovidiu Ionescu and Alvaro Robleshis double partner. The two faced, in the “quarters”, with the French Florian Bourrassaud and Esteban Dorr.
The Romanian-Spanish pair won the first set with 11-8, but the French took their revenge in the second set: 7-11. There followed a set controlled by Ionescu and Robles (11-4) and then one in which Bourrasaud and Dorr played very well, resisting an attempt to return the opponents (11-13).
The decisive set was also won by the French (6-11) who thus obtained the qualification in the semifinals. In the penultimate act of World Championships, Bourrassaud and Dorr will play either with Egypt El-Beial and Youssef Abdelaziz, or Japanese Hiroto Shinozuka and Shushuke Togami.
