The county of Romania in which Nicușor Dan obtained a devastating score: over 90% of the votes / where George Simion pointed out most

Nicușor Dan won detached in Harghita and Covasna, counties in which the Hungarian ethnicities are the majority. In the first round, these counties were awarded by Crin Antonescu, the candidate supported by the former ruling coalition.

In Harghita, Nicușor Dan obtained 90.78% of the votes, according to the official results, after counting all the votes in the county. The independent candidate took over 142,000 votes, compared to 14,439, as much as the gold leader, George Simion.

In the first round, in Harghita he won Crin Antonescu with 74.6%, followed by George Simion – 8.9%and Nicușor Dan – 7.9%.

Nicușor Dan obtained, on Sunday evening, an impressed score in Covasna, another county in which the Hungarian community is majority. Here the share was 84.42%, compared to 15.58% as Simion took.

On the next place is Cluj, where the independent candidate has awarded just over 70% of the votes and Bucharest, where he was 69% when there were only two sections to count.

George Simion had the best result in Gorj County, where he obtained 61.48%, ie 95,439 votes. In the first round, here he obtained almost 50% of the votes and was followed by Victor Ponta, with over 21%.

The golden leader won in 23 counties of the country, while Nicușor Dan was imposed in 17 counties, but also in Bucharest and Ilfov – areas from which a large number of votes came that weighed in the final result.
