JD Vance talks about trade with Europe. And positively

Before the Sunday meeting in Rome with the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the chairwoman of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen Vance he called Melons “Budownia bridges” between the European Union and the United States. “I think we will have a great conversation and I hope that this will be the beginning of long -term commercial negotiations and long -term commercial benefits between Europe and the United States,” said Vance.
This is the first time since President Donald Trump unleashed the global customs war last month, when a member of his administration publicly spoke publicly about the prospects of favorable American trade with the EU.
Von der Leyen, in turn, emphasized that “we are connected by the fact that at the end we want to have a good contract for both sides.”
