Elizabeth Homigie sent an emotional message a few hours after the last official match played by Cristina Neagu, the victory obtained by CSM Bucharest in front of Corona Brașov, score 35-33.

Elizabeth Homogie and Cristina Neagu have a special relationship. The Slovenian coordinator will take over the role of leader at CSM Bucharest. Until then, he had a day full of emotions.

He cried at the withdrawal match from Bucharest. When things were quiet, he also sent a soul message.

“I just want to thank you for everything. You were more than a teammate and a friend, you were a real leader. Someone who led not only by words, but by heart, power and example. Thank you for teaching me so much, that you guided me, that you have pushed me to grow and, above all, that you believed in me and saw the best in me, even when I didn't see.

You left a fingerprint on me that I will always carry. Not only in the game, but also in life. It's hard to believe this is the end of your career, but it is certainly not the end of your impact.

You are the true definition of a legend, and the legends remain forever, they live in every heart they have reached. «Liza, whatever it is, never give up on you!». I will bear these words until the end of my career! ”, Homogie said on my personal Facebook account.

The gang breaks!

Elizabeth Homogie, Cristina Neagu and Emilie Arntzen formed the “Powerpuff girls” gang from CSM Bucharest. From the next season, the coordinator will remain alone.

Cristina has retired, and Emilie will evolve for Ikast, in the first league of Denmark.
