Over 756,600 voters voted in the diaspora, until Sunday, at 9:00, at the second round of the presidential elections, according to the data provided in real time by the Permanent Electoral Authority, writes Agerpres.
UPDATE 09.00 According to the AEP, from the opening of the ballot boxes, respectively from Friday (7:00 local) to Sunday, at 9:00, 756,666 Romanian citizens voted abroad, of which 3,139 by correspondence.
In the first round of the presidential elections on May 4, until Sunday at 9:00, 410,266 Romanian citizens had voted.

The presence at the ballot box abroad is greater than at the first round of the presidential elections on May 4, when until Sunday at 8:00, 403,904 Romanian citizens had voted.

The vote in the diaspora at the presidential elections takes place during three days – started on Friday at 7:00 (local time) and ends on Sunday at 9:00 pm (Romania time).
In the 965 polling stations in the diaspora organized for this year presidential elections, Romanian citizens who are abroad can vote on the day of the election, whether or not they have their domicile or residence abroad.
