The head of Avangarde, an institute that realizes one of the two exit-pools, Marius Pieleanu, says that there is still time for a candidate or another to gather points, but at 7 pm things were clear in the country. At 21.00, Hotnews presents the first exit-pool results of presidential elections 2025 round 2.
“We still do not have all the data, there is still enough time for one candidate or another to gather points. It is still 19:12, but if the trends for both candidates are kept until the end of the data collection and the closing of the ballot boxes, in Romania there is a clear hierarchy.
But can the diaspora overthrow this hierarchy?
“It is possible for the diaspora to overturn this hierarchy only in the conditions in which the overwhelming majority of the votes would go in one direction,” he concluded.
Until 19.27, more than 61% of Romanians had voted, that is, almost 11 million.
