The summary states that yesterday the invaders inflicted 75 airstrikes on the positions of the Armed Forces and Ukrainian territories, dropping 106 controlled aircraft bombs, used 2960 drones-Kamikadze and carried out more than 4.7 thousand shelling, including 122-from rocket systems of salvo fire.
Aviation, missile forces and artillery of defense forces struck four areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and four artillery enemy systems, said in the General Staff.
In the Kharkov direction, the Russians made three attacks, in Kupyansky – one, Limansky – 24, Seversky – 10, Kramatorsk – eight, Toretskoy – 14, Pokrovsky – 54, Novopavlovsky – 23, Orekhovsky – Two, Donprovsky – two.
Over the past day, 14 battles occurred in the Kursk direction. The Russian Federation applied 15 aircraft shows and 224 artillery shelling, including three from the MLRS, and also dropped 20 cubes.
The General Staff also informed about the losses of Russian invaders over the past day, which amounted to 1130 people. In addition, Ukrainian warriors neutralized the tank, four military armored vehicles, 38 artillery systems, one reactive system of volley fire, 107 UPEA operational-tactical levels and 91 unit of car equipment of the invaders.
Context
The Russian Federation unleashed a war against Ukraine in 2014, when she occupied Crimea and parts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. On February 24, 2022, Russia began a full -scale invasion of Ukraine from the northern, eastern and southern directions. In the spring of the same year, the Ukrainian army discovered the north of the country, in the fall – units of the Kharkov and Kherson regions, in particular, Kherson.
In June 2024, the Russian army began the invasion in the north of the Kharkov region, the battles for Volchansk continued. Since August 6, 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine perform an operation in the territory of the aggressor country-in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Since April 2025, the Ukrainian military has been conducting operations in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
