Raiffeisen Digital Bank follows the blow and introduces deposits in its offer in a foreign currency. EURO deposits will be covered by a fixed interest rate of 2.5% per annum and addressed to account holders in the same currency.

In the press release, the bank announced that foreign currency deposits in EUR can be founded in three variants:

  • 3 months,
  • 6 months,
  • 12 months.

The interest rate on each deposit will be 2.5% per annum. The customer may set up more than one deposit, but up to the total amount of 100,000 euro. The condition for using the deposit will be having a currency account at Raiffeisen Digital Bank, which, like the other bills, can be set up in a mobile application.

The funds paid to the deposit in euros are protected to the equivalent of 100,000. EUR as in the case of deposits and accounts in Polish zlotys. Pursuant to the Raiffeisen regulations, the profit is subject to Austrian tax of 25%, but you can get an exemption from this obligation by sending an appropriate tax form to the bank.

The new currency deposit of the bank is at the forefront. Until now, an inbank led the lead among deposits in euros with a rate of 2.15% for 12 months, while among national banks the best offer was Nest Bank with 1.5% on the deposit for new funds.

A deposit for you at 6%

Later this week, Raiffeisen Digital Bank started with a deposit for you for new customers. It can be set up for 3 months and deposit a maximum of 300,000. zloty. The interest rate on the deposit will be 6% per annum, but the offer is valid only until June 2.
