Marius Copil (34 years old) is the new coach of the player who ranks 11th WTA, Diana Shnaider (21 years old). Although not withdrawn from the activity, the Romanian tennis player will be the Russian coach for the Roland Garros tournament.
The partnership is currently a test, but depending on the results and the collaboration between the 2, Marius Copil could become permanently the coach of the young Russian.

Marius Copil is Dianaider's new coach
Diana Shnaider recently interrupted the collaboration with the former world leader in the WTA circuit, Dinara Safina (39 years old).
At the Rome tournament, Diana Shnaider participated without a coach and reached the quarterfinals of the competition, where she gave in to the Italian Jasmine Paolini, score 7-6 (1), 4-6, 2-6.
So far, the 21-year-old player has passed four titles to the simple. The Russian is in 11th place in the WTA ranking and 13th in the Double WTA standings.
Marius Copil, former tennis player in the top 100, is known for his powerful service. Arrived at 34, the Romanian has not yet retired from the activity and returned to the tennis court this spring, after being absent for a long time due to an operation in heel.
Now, Marius Copil will train Diana Shnaider for the Roland Garros tournament this year. In the previous two participation on the Parisian slag, the Russian did not pass the second round.
The Roland Garros tournament will take place between May 25 and June 8.
I had a calcium deposit on the bone at the heels and all the time my ahilian tendon. I have it from 2020, but I hesitated to do the operation. I thought I could go that way and didn't go.
I was playing at 50%, sometimes I woke up that I could barely step on my foot and my pain was activated during the match. I had no chance of winning, if you are not one hundred percent, you cannot play at Futures.
