Controversy around spots promoting Trzaskowski. Democracy is explained


Wirtualna Polska said on Thursday that from April 10 Facebook was “flooded with political commercials”. They were placed by two completely unknown profiles, meaning “you know how it is not” and “adult table”. It is not known who manages these profiles. In some of the advertisements – and all of them gave the impression of talking to ordinary citizens – they were strongly criticized in elections in the election of PiS Karol Nawrocki supported by PiS and the confederation candidate Sławomir Mentzen.

In the second part, Ko Rafał Trzaskowski's candidate was praised. Portal journalists managed to identify three people appearing in commercials and contact them. They all stated that people associated with the Akcja Democracy Foundation encouraged them to participate in commercials.
Representatives of the Management Board of the Foundation Democracy published a statement on this matter on Thursday. The Democracy statement indicated that it is a social organization “consisting of a small team, a movement based on bottom -up activism and hundreds of thousands of people involved mainly on the web.” It has been added that their members and supporters “have the freedom to take their own individual initiatives”.
