The region is transferred to a single -level system of organization of local self -government. Now in the Krasnoyarsk Territory 472 municipalities, after the entry into force of the reform, 33 municipal districts and six city municipal districts will be replaced. Municipal districts are formed within the existing boundaries of municipal areas, in some cases two or even three districts will include the district, while the areas themselves will be abolished, as well as rural municipalities in the districts.
Representatives of the authorities emphasize that the main goal of the reform is to improve the quality of the management system in the territories and consolidate resources to solve the problems of residents. During the discussion of the law with the government, the governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov noted that the second stage of the reform will be the distribution of authority. Such transformations, according to the head of the region, have long been related and “called up to lay the foundations of long -term sustainable development of the municipalities of the region.”
When considering the law, the parliament approved the governor's amendment. She offered the double names of the new districts.
