Maggie Clarke, former children's nurse and current resident of Elizabeth Lodge in Enfield, used to joke with the staff, saying she was always asking how to be arrested. On the occasion of his anniversary, the center of the center, along with the police from the Wood Green section, set up a farce, reports independently.

In the morning of his birthday, the officers appeared with a set of handcuffs and a “Arrest warrant” false. Maggie conforms with enthusiasm, reached for his hands smiling, and policeman Benjamin Flint a “Arrested” symbolically, accusing her of “Excessive speed with the wheelchair.”

“I was too good for too long. It was on my wish list to be arrested by a handsome policeman.”said Maggie Clarke amused. “Now I fulfilled my desire, I liked it!”

After “arrest”, Maggie was celebrated with a cake and a party she told about events from youth and delighted invitations with her stories.

The Metropolitan Police said that he felt honored to take part in this anniversary surprise. Sergeant Eren Emin, within the Oakwood Ward neighborhood team, said: “We came to the home with a greeting card signed by the colleagues in Enfield and some symbolic gifts for Maggie. We made sure it was arrested properly, for excessive speed. We were pleased to be with him and we hope that we made his day more beautiful.”

The entire action was part of the Wishing Tree initiative of the Elizabeth Lodge center, which encourages residents to express their wishes-from resuming hobbies to completely new experiences, such as a flight by plane.

“Maggie always has a jovial spirit, but that was very special. He surprised us again!”, said Michelle Sampang, director of the center. “We are happy that we were able to transform this funny desire into reality. It was a common effort, and Maggie and her family will have a lot of time.”
