What accusations are brought to the 17 -year -old student
The 17 -year -old teenager was pursued in December 2024, after his name was issued an arrest warrant for several offenses: conspiracy to commit crimes against the US, sexual exploitation of a minor, receiving and distributing child pornography, threats of extortation, threatening interstate communications The threat with acts of terrorism that exceed national borders, notes Agerpres.
The FBI accuses the 17-year-old student of being part of an international network that carry out criminal activities through certain online groups and aims to overturn the world order and to destroy civilized society, by corruption and exploitation of young people in the world.
According to Romanian investigators, the Romanian student is a member of such online criminal groups, which aim, manipulate and extort victims to determine them to commit acts of violence, sexual and self -help exploitation. He would have convinced me many minor victims to produce and share explicit sexual content and engage in acts of violence, including serious self -destruction and cruelty.
Sometimes, when a victim refused to provide explicit materials or commit violent acts, as asked, the Romanian teenager sent threats to the US institutions, indicating as a perpetrator who did not listen.
Heard by Romanian and American authorities, the student acknowledged the facts retained in his task, respectively that he learned how to make telephone calls through various internet applications (including applications used to send numerous bomb threats) and that he has sent, since December 2022, over 450 threats with bomb and/or threatening to commit a school.
During the investigation, the FBI agents heard six victims whom the Romanian student manipulated and extorted to engage in acts of extreme violence, sexual exploitation and self-prophesion, notes the same source.
