Major blow in all Romanian sport! The law of June changes: Political parties support the project

For a long time, Order 500/2022 issued by the Ministry of Sport at the time when the minister was Eduard Novak, an order that provides for the obligation to use at least 40% Romanians in all the matches organized in the country, in all sports, could have the effects of next month.
A former footballer will ask the Novak order to become law
Former footballer of the Iasi Polytechnic, Ciprian Paraschiv, who is now the chairman of the Sport and Youth Commission within the Chamber of Deputies, announced that the mentioned order will become law: “I assumed that until the middle of June we will pass the law of 40% Romanian athletes in team sports.”
Paraschiv says that all participants in the initiative debated in a commission meeting had the same vision: “The initiative of Edaurd Novak, a Romanian athlete of Hungarian ethnicity, with the tricolor on the shoulders at the highest level of performance and former Minister of Sport, has all the support to follow the steps to become a text of law.”
According to the parliamentarian from Iasi, the law will have to be respected by all the federations, including those who had found ways to bypass the order given by the Ministry of Sport in 2022.
GSP.ro sources claim that the political parties will support the adoption of the draft law, which will then be implemented, shortly.
The advantages of the new law
Ciprian Paraschiv, who was director at the Romanian Football Federation during the period 2014-2020, UEFA observer and a member of the FRF Executive Committee until he was involved in politics, presented the advantages of the future law: “Recovery of the essential identity connection between the community and the sports team that represents it.
The team of the city or commune cannot remain so with the name, if we want stability in the medium and long term. And the community cannot invest in team sports without implicitly supporting the promotion of local talents, leaving the community, products of the Academy and the community.
At the same time, the project means the opportunity for young Romanian talents to complete and assert themselves in national competitions, the optimal context for promoting Romanian athletes to the great performance ”.
Novak is ecstasy
And Eduard Novak reacted on his Facebook page.
“The Romanian sport won an important battle! At the invitation of the Commission for Sport and Youth in the Chamber of Deputies, I participated in a debate in which I supported with solid arguments two important and as dear causes: that of the paralimpic sport and the need for law 500/2022, known as Novak.
The debate enjoyed a unanimous support from the members of the commission, and the atmosphere was an opening, involvement and responsibility towards the future of Romanian sport.
The chairman of the commission, Mr. Ciprian-Constantin Paraschiv, declared in plenary that “Order 500 is, in his opinion, one of the best decisions taken in the Romanian sport since the Revolution.” Subsequently, the commitment to transform this order into law (…) has publicly reiterated.
