“It will be a breakthrough year.” The Minister of Finance believes in a rapid growth of GDP

“We estimate that the growth rate of GDP in 2025 will be closer to 4 percent.” – admitted the minister. During the panel entitled” The Polish economy against the background of a dynamically changing Europe “emphasized that the coming months would be crucial.
“It will be a year of breakthrough, a year of change, the time in which Europe is responsible for its safety” – argued Andrzej Domański.

In his speech, he referred to the trade war unleashed by the US President. This is a revolution that – according to the minister – “ends the era of naive globalization.” He talked about the need to intensify investments that would drive European prosperity.
“Economic growth must cease to be just a bit of a side effect of ambitious European policies. It is to serve society, serve the economy and must be the goal of ourselves. For this, we need our own technological competences, modern industry and efficient mechanisms of financing innovation. We need strategic independence. And Poland is a great example of an example of positive changes,” said the minister.
Andrzej Domański maintains earlier declarations on the growth of Poland's GDP this year at 3.9 percent. Most international institutions do not share this optimism.
