On Monday, the President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zielnski signed an act of ratifying a contract regarding mineral resources between the rule of Ukraine and the United States. The American-Ukrainian investment fund for reconstruction will be created.

On the website of the Supreme Council there is information that the act was signed by the president.
Earlier on Thursday, the Supreme Council (Parliament) of Ukraine ratified the intergovernmental agreement with the United States on mineral resources. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Szmyhal said that this is a historical event for both countries.
According to the premiere, the contract will provide Ukraine with a number of possibilities, including guaranteed investments in the most promising sectors of the economy. This will accelerate the reconstruction of Ukraine and help overcome the destructive effects of the war with Russia. The country will also receive modern technologies for modernization.
The Ministry of Finance of the USA informed on April 30 that the United States and Ukraine signed an economic partnership agreement and the creation of the American-Ukrainian Investment Fund for reconstruction. The European Portal Truth has reported that the agreement between US and Ukraine's rule “regarding the establishment of the American-Ukrainian Investment Fund for Reconstruction” refers to 57 minerals and American military assistance, but a number of issues are not described in detail in the document.
The contract includes detailed guarantees that it will not be contrary to Ukraine's agreements with the EU and Ukraine's aspirations to join the community, and in the case of such a contradiction in an accession agreement with the EU, the provisions of the US contract should be changed. Importantly, the document does not subordinate Ukraine to the American legal system and disputes will be resolved on the basis of parity through consultation – says European truth.
The BBC portal reminded on May 1 that Ukraine has numerous critical raw materials, including rare lands.
