In Krasnoyarsk, the court intensified the punishment of the ex-official of the city house for the bribe

On the appeal of the prosecutor’s office, the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court increased punishment to the former deputy head of the department of the city house Vladimir Steakanov, convicted of receiving a bribe.

It was established that c On September 2022, the Department concluded a contract with the contracting organization for emergency work in a residential building on Michurin Street. After that, the company became a contractor to strengthen building structures in the house on Decembrov Street. And in January 2023 Vladimir Stakanov, Wanting to benefit, he told the founders of the company about the need to give him illegal remuneration in the amount of 200 thousand rubles. In return, he promised unhindered acceptance and payment of work, as well as the general protection of economic activity. After that, Stakanov signed a certificate of the cost of the work performed and costs to the contractor, the document became a guarantee of further cooperation.

In January 2024, a representative of the company in a cafe transferred a bribe of 200 thousand rubles to the officialthe size of which agreed with his partner.

In February 2025, the court of first instance found Vladimir Stakanov guilty under paragraph “c” of part 5 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and sentenced to 7 years in a maximum security colony and a fine of 2 million rubles with deprivation of the right to occupy positions in local governments for 5 years.

The convict did not agree with the sentence and appealed him.

“The court of appeal rejected the arguments of the complaint about the excessive severity of the punishment and the imposition of a milder punishment or a conditional measure. At the same time, on the proposal of the prosecutor, the court changed the verdict and confiscated the equivalent of a bribe in the state’s income – 200 thousand rubles. The arrest of the car of the convicted Audi Q7 is preserved. The sentence entered into force. Its execution is under control, ”the prosecutor’s office said.

The criminal case against the bribe takers was terminated in connection with the active contribution of the disclosure of the crime.
