Also from 7:00 pm it is scheduled and announced on May 6, the debate from Digi24, where Nicușor Dan confirmed the participation, but George Simion did not provide an answer.

“Today, the debate organized by the University of Bucharest should have taken place. After publicly declared its opening to the dialogue and confirmed, before tour 2, the participation in this debate organized by the academic environment, Nicușor Dan takes a step back and deliberately avoids the confrontation of ideas,” accuses gold.

The party led by George Simion claims that, although a meeting with representatives of the UB and the teams of the two candidates for the presidential “team of the candidate Nicușor Dan came with a new condition: the debate organization to be done exclusively in collaboration with a television”.

Today, from 7 pm, at Digi24 the second electoral debate for the second round of the presidential elections is scheduled. The debate was launched and announced on May 6.

So far, only Nicușor Dan has confirmed the presence, according to Digi24. Hotnews asked George Simion's press office if he participated in the television debate on Monday. “We return with a position”, was the answer received, until the time of publication of this news.

The television states that the format of the show was established and sent on Friday to the campaign teams of the two candidates. Nicușor Dan's team confirmed the presence of the independent candidate on Saturday. George Simion's team did not offer an answer, television broadcast.

The first electoral debate for the 2nd tour of the presidential elections took place on Thursday evening, at Euronews, when the two candidates faced more than four hours.
