The mayor of Krasnoyarsk and the governor of the region on May 9 joined the solemn procession of the “Immortal Regiment” in the regional center.

Recall that this year it first took place on the right bank – participants with photographs of their Relatives-Frontoviks walked along Krasraba around 2.5 kilometers.
They were joined by the head of the city Vladislav Loginov, who noted that in the column “Unity, common pride and immortal memory were felt:
“The feeling that it was for the sake of this moment that 80 years have passed … Together with the family we carried a portrait of our hero. This is my grandfather Viktor Elizarievich Loginov. In 1943, at 16, he voluntarily went to serve in the Pacific Fleet. Of course, they did not allow him to fight immediately, but was determined in Vladivostok to the Swimming School. After he served on the Minna Falls of Astrakhan in the Soviet Harbor, then participated in the hostilities of the Soviet-Japanese war. In 1946, the grandfather was demobilized due to health reasons, at the age of 19 he received a second disability group. The grandfather was reluctant to talk about the war, but he could talk about his favorite business for hours – he taught drawing and drawing for almost 50 years, ”the head of the city told in his social networks.
The governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov carried portraits of his two grandfathers – Fedor Ivanovich Kotyukov and Roman Mikhailovich Kartavtsev, who were participants in the Great Patriotic War.
“Incredible emotions – to go again to shoulder to shoulder in the Immortal Regiment with portraits of our native front -line soldiers, thanks to which we all live today. Unfortunately, I did not find one of my grandfathers. In honor of the second, who put a lot in me, called the eldest son – Roman. I bring up children in respect for the memory of both. I remember. I am proud! ”, – wrote the head of the region in his social networks.
According to the organizers, over 47 thousand people took part in Krasnoyarsk in the festive procession, and more than 109 thousand inhabitants in 102 settlements of the region. It is noted that this year, for the first time in the columns, participants in a special military operation, activists of the “Movement of the First” and a student of the Krutovsky medical college took place.
