Vasile Miriuță (56 years old), the coach of Poli Iași, spoke about his future at the club, after defeating with FC Hermannstadt, score 0-1in the 8th stage of the Superligi play-out.

It was the second defeat for Poli Iași in the mandate of Vasile Miriuță. The team has managed to avoid direct relegation, but a fire duel will follow with Ploiești Oil, in the last stage, to avoid dam places.

Vasile Miriuță spoke about his future at Poli Iași: “This matters less”

“We had our situations, we had to be more careful. We should not receive that goal. We are in our hand, we have to win at home, we do not depend on other results, this is a good thing.

In the second half they surprised us the counterattack, they have good players, we had to be more careful. We need to do everything we are about to win in the last stage.

All the teams have won their matches, they are a little upset, we have nothing to do, we have to prepare. You can't have many opportunities when you play with Hermannstadt away.

I have nothing to reproach for boys. I am optimistic, I remember right here, in Sibiu, when I stayed in the last stage (no rescue from relegation), so it will happen and now, I am sure we will succeed.

I have a contract until 30, this matters less, whether or not Miriuță will remain in Iași, it is important for the team to save itself ”, Vasile Miriuță told Digi Sport.

Vasile Miriuță replaced Emil Săndoi on the bank of Iasi after a defeat with FC Hermannstadt, score 0-2, in January this year.

Miriuță started with a defeat, score 1-4 with Craiova University, and then recorded a new failure, 0-1 score with UTA Arad.

Iași then won 3 draws and 2 victories until the end of the regular season, and in the play-out he recorded 3 draws, 3 victories and 2 defeats.
