Over the past week, 203 residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory remotely stole more than 70 million rubles. This was reported in the prosecutor's office.

According to statistics, in 27 cases, people became victims of fake cryptocurrency; in 43-phishing links to online stores; 46 people were influenced by the false law enforcement officers and organizations “saved well-being”; 12 users of social networks trusted reports from the accounts of friends and acquaintances who asked to lend money; And in 75 cases, the victims on the Internet fell on the tricks of unidentified persons through deception.

One of the victims of major fraud was a 31-year-old engineer from the Achinsky district-it lost 13 million rubles. An attacker called a woman, introduced himself as an employee of the Russian Post and said that there was a letter from the tax for her, but since the addressee did not indicate the method of receipt, you need to go to a telegram-boot, mark your phone number, email address and pass authorization with the help of “public services”. After the attacker of the victim performed by decree, a fake notification came that unknown people were included in her personal account of the portal and are trying to perform fraudulent actions. Fearing for a leakage of personal data, the woman turned to the portal pseudomultant in the message, he allegedly transferred her to the Central Bank employee, who said that “to save well -being,” it was required to transfer all his savings to insurance agents, because they “almost captured the faces from the enemy country”. “I believed, so I transferred funds, I was afraid that I was really under investigation due to the fact that I said my data to the enemy country,” the woman said.

In this and other cases of fraud, criminal cases have been instituted, an investigation is underway.

It should be noted that since the beginning of 2025, 3110 inhabitants became victims of Internet moders in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the damage caused amounted to more than 856 million rubles. The percentage of disclosure of these crimes is 27.5 % (636 disclosed, 293 criminal cases were sent to the courts.
