Vuchich called the meeting with Fitzo in Moscow Bratskoye


“Brotherly meeting with the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fitzi tonight in Moscow. Serbs and Slovaks, brothers forever!” – wrote the Serbian president.




RTS notes that the illegitimate President of Russia Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin accepted Vuchich and Fitzo, who arrived at the celebration on May 9 in Moscow, a solemn dinner. It also was on the President of the Republic of Serbian Milorad Dodik.

Vuchich said that he had many “heart meetings” with leaders with whom there is no way to communicate often. He said that on Friday the most important meetings await him – with Putin, as well as with China President Xi Jinping.

Context

Putin sent an invitation to the parade on May 9 to the leaders of a number of countries, in particular Central Asia, as well as Israel, China, Brazil, Slovakia and Serbia, Politico notes. He did not invite representatives of the United States and most EU members.

Callas called on European leaders not to participate in military celebrations in Moscow on May 9 and demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine. However, Vucich and Fito decided to ignore this call.

On May 6, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that the participation of foreigners in the parade on May 9 in the Russian Federation will become an abuse of the memory of Ukrainians killed by Russia.

On April 15, The Telegraph, with reference to its own sources, wrote that Serbia could ban the entry into the European Union if Vucich goes to Russia for the parade on May 9 to Putin.

On April 17, Vucich said that he had not changed his plans to visit the parade and added that one of the Serbian military units would take part in it.

BLIC noted that Poland and the Baltic countries banned the flight in the airspace of Wucich and Fitzu aircraft.

On May 8, the head of the diplomacy of the European Union Kai Callas said that Vuchich’s trip to Moscow did not go unnoticed by the countries of the European Union.
