Woman killed by ax at a University in Warsaw. The attacker would be a law student

A woman was killed in an attack with ax at the University of Warsaw, Poland, according to the police. A man was seriously injured.

A 22 -year -old Polish was arrested, after killing a woman and seriously injured a man at a University in Warsaw.

University described the attack as a “Huge tragedy”.
She described the woman as a member of the staff, without providing other details and the man as a security agent, writes the BBC.

The attacker entered the college campus at 6:40 pm. From there he entered a classroom, according to a spokesman for the district prosecutor.

The Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza states that the attacker was a third year in law. There is no official confirmation.

“We express our great pain and compassion towards family and loved ones”said the rector of the university in a statement, adding that May 8 will be a day of mourning for the institution.
