Tornado in Tulcea, surprised in the pictures. Authorities issued RO-Alert message and mobilize intervention crews

A tornado formed on Wednesday afternoon, May 7, between Horia and Mircea Voda, in Tulcea county. The extreme phenomenon was surprised in the images, subsequently published on the social networks, and the authorities sent a RO-allert message for warning the population in the area. Several inhabitants looked at the tornado.

Meteorologists have issued several yellow and orange code warnings for severe phenomena, including electric shocks, torrential showers and vigils.
Measures taken by ISU “Delta” Tulcea
The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations “Delta” Tulcea issued an official statement announcing the mobilization of the intervention crews in the proximity of the affected area. A warning has been activated nowcasting orange code for Horia, where heavy rains of up to 40 l/sqm and intense electrical phenomena are forecast.
In order to be able to intervene quickly in the event of torrents or floods, especially on the vulnerable national road sector between Tulcea and Măcin, the following resources were mobilized:
– an extinguishing vehicle,
– a special intervention and command special vehicle,
– a Rib type craft.
“The population is advised to avoid traveling in the area and to respect the authorities' directions,” the ISU representatives said.
The affected areas remain under the supervision of the authorities, and the interventions will continue according to the evolution of the weather phenomena.
ANM announces bad weather by Friday
Meteorologists announce that there will be torrential rains, with electric discharges and wind intensifications, throughout the country, until Friday morning, May 9.
The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a yellow code and storm warning, for the counties in the northern Dobrogea, northeast of Muntenia, the southern Moldova and the Carpathian area.
“This will be manifested by torrential showers, electric discharges and wind intensifications (generally 40 … 50 km/h). In short time intervals or by accumulation the quantities of water will exceed 20 … 40 l/sqm and will be vigils and hail,” meteorologists said.
The weather will cool down in all areas, and on the mountain ridges there will be mixed rainfall.
