The ZAA court rejected Sebastian M.'s appeal regarding his extradition to Poland – said Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar. The man is suspected of causing an accident on the A1 motorway, in which a family of three died.

“The Supreme Court of the United Arab Emirates did not take into account the appeal of Sebastian M. against the decision of the Dubai Court of Appeal stating the legal admissibility of its issue to Poland,” said the head of MS on platform X. He added that the decision of the EmiRician Supreme Court is valid, which means the end of the judicial stage of the extradition procedure.
“The last decision belongs only to the Minister of Justice Zea, who will decide on the possible issue of Sebastian M. to the Polish authorities” – noted Bodnar.
He explained that then it would finally be possible to end the matter of causing a tragic traffic accident on the A1 route, in which a family of three died.
He thanked the prosecutors, diplomats and officials on the Polish and Emiraca side for involvement, who “worked intensively so that justice could be fulfilled.” “It is a huge success of the Polish justice system, but also Polish diplomacy,” he assessed.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski informed about the court's decision. “The road pirate, which escaped to Dubai, will stand before the Polish justice dimension,” wrote on the platform X Sikorski.

He was released from custody for deposit and, according to media reports, received the so -called A golden visa giving him the status of a resident.

In January, the Court of Appeal in Dubai, deciding as a court of first instance, stated “unlawfully legal admissibility of extradition Sebastian M. to Poland.” This ruling was appealed in February by a man, and in Wednesday the Supreme Court of the United Arab Emirates rejected them. (PAP)
