Unbeaty in April, the champions of Romania continue the triumphal march to a new title in Superliga. Charalambous has the great merit of being transformed into FCSB into a real force, but also into a united family, which has not lost 20 matches!

In April, FCSB won 3 important victories, with U Cluj (1-0), CFR Cluj (3-2) and Rapid (2-1), plus an equal, with Craiova University (0-0), which keep it in the first position.

-I want to thank very much, first of all, to those who voted me and brought this trophy! You know that I always say this, and I will say it again, winning such a trophy is primarily due to the players, the effort I make. I want to thank them for what I do! I want to thank the staff, for the support I give to the players! Of course, the fans, who are with us at every match.

– You have won victories with U Cluj, CFR Cluj and Rapid. Now comes the derby with Dinamo.
-As you said, another derby awaits us, because in this play-off all the matches are derby. It is important during this period to win matches and I hope we will impose ourselves in the Monday game.

– Was it difficult for you when you came to Romania?
– Look! The only thing we can do, the coaches, is to see each other. No one knows what will happen. I tried to give everything from my first day here, along with the staff and the players. We tried to do our job as well as we could, to help the team. It is never known how long a coach stands on a team. God can decide! I am happy to be here for a long time. I hope I will stay here for a long time, I like FCSB!

– So Elias Charalambous stays in the summer at FCSB?!
– I have said many times that I feel good here. He is a person here who decides who stays and who leaves. He is Mr. Gigi, together with MM, they make the decisions here. But I think we all feel good, we have a good relationship, it seems that things are going well. Let's finish in the best way the championship, our goal is to win it. Then we will have time to talk about other things.

– Is this season much more difficult than the previous one?
“Yes, for sure!” It's more difficult. When you return to the competition from the champion position, sometimes the relaxation can intervene, you may not play as well as in the previous season. But it is not difficult to work with these players, because their attitude in training makes us, coaches, work easier.
