Supported with millions of euros of public money, CSM Slatina, the Liga 2 team coached by Claudiu Niculescu, abandoned the striker Bogdan Miu, 18, one of the “pearls” of the junior center, to make room for foreigners with generous contracts. Ion Pîrvulescu, the man who launched Clau-Gol, Dănciulescu and Luțu, is amazed by the club. The parents paid his grid to remove him from the SCM!
Last summer, when taking over the term of mayor of Slatina, Mario de Mezzo announced a total revolution at the Municipal Sports Club.
“This black hole, in which our money is eight years old, must be reformed. It swallows millions of euros and I also know the companies that sell at ten times higher prices whatever is the CSM,” the mayor said in a Facebook post, in July 2024.
Meanwhile, the club missed the necessary legal procedures to change its form of organization that allows it to have the right to promote in L1. And he will play again for nothing in the new season of the second league.
In addition, on the table, he has thrown an incredibly on board a top juvenile product of the city of recent years, Bogdan Miu Peak, 18, and has brought, instead, strangers on very high salaries, non -leafable at a club in the state of impossibility to climb L1.
Bogdan Miu Na could stay in Lazio, because the parents had no way of leaving Romania
Bogdan Miu, 18 years old, striker, 9 classic number, 1.93 m, skillful in the use of both feet, comes from a family of athletes. Dad, Alin, MApN frame, played football in the lower leagues, and the mother, Steliana, MI officer, was a national champion in handball.
The kid started football at 6 years old, started from CSș Slatina, after which he passed the whole group at the SCM, and, over 12 and a half seasons, impressed with his progressive level: over 300 goals scored, champion at the Summer Kids Cup 2014 tournament, he scored 33 times and last season.
He went through sessions of evidence in Bologna, Torino, Lazio, and in Rome, at 17, he had the opportunity to stay because, as a minor, he should have been permanent with a parent. Impossible mission, however, because the mother and father could not dislocate the long time in Romania due to belonging to the military system.
Miu passed through the hands of four coaches in the juvenile circuit (Grădinaru, Ignat, Mitrache, Stănculețu), and Claudiu Niculescu, at the end of the last championship, offered the debut in L2, in the match with Chiajna.
The next step would have been the brave promotion in the second division, in the 2025-2026 season, especially with a Slatina CSM without the right of promotion.

But, overnight, a few days before the start of the championship, “Perla” Miu woke up with a shocking message for him and family: the club announced that he does not enter the plan for L2! Without any explanations!
The parents paid the grid of 9,500 lei: “We are shocked!” On the list in Venezia and Aik Stockholm!
“I can't believe that! I hope it's a lie! I saw the boy in a few games and it's lightning! Believe me! Physically impressive, strength, great technique for his massive style. A fantastic growth potential! If he reaches a rigorous and demanding coach, he would become a big surprise in a maximum of one year. For so many decades of work, I rarely deceived the quality of the young players. I will be interested in what happened! ”Says the venerable Ion Pîrvulescu, 85 years old.
He is the diamond coach who offered Dănciulescu, Niculescu, Luțu or Augustin Chiriță from the talented incubator from Slatina.

With Bogdan clogged by his own club, the parents decided to extract him from CSM Slatina. They paid his training grid, about 9,500 lei, released him, and the boy, tight with the time door, chose, for the moment, to go to L3, at Oltul Curtișoara so as not to lose his competitive pace.
“That's right! We are shocked! I made a fantastic effort, I turned to the bank to pay for Bogdan's grid, which was considered absolutely everyone the most promising product of Slatina. It will continue to play constantly, and then we will see. I do not hide that he is currently monitored by Venezia and Aik Stockholm,” Alin Miu confesses.
3,000 euros/month for a 32 -year -old Ghanez and a Guinean from the third Italian League!
During this time, the president of the club, the former international Gheorghe Craioveanu, says that “I do not know about this boy.” Mayor Mario de Mezzo Na could be contacted. And coach Claudiu Niculescu points out that “the kid is talented, but I do not know his situation, that I have not taken him in the training canton. Yes, he is talented, but I think he is on the third league, to grow! What to say more?”.
And Miu is abandoned in the context in which, without the right to promote, CSM Slatina has recruited two strangers this summer, with salaries of about 3,000 euros each, as GSP sources claim!
This is Ghanaz Raman Chibsah (32 years old), a midfielder brought from Ceahlăul, and Oscar Siafa (27 years, equatorial guinea – with Spanish citizenship), striker, last time in Pro Vercelli in the third Italian league.

They join the Kayondo Ugandez and the Spanish Rodri Hernando, who came in February from Șelimbăr. Four strangers, cumulative salaries of about 12,000 euros per month of public money!
Bogdan Miu is a child from our Academy. I will try to see at work and other players who have evolved less. We have a good nucleus that gives us hope that next season we can do beautiful things

In the viewfinder of the Kiev Federation: His great -grandfather was born in Ukraine
Until 18, Bogdan Miu also escaped the filters from the junior national, but it would not be the first name that rises directly to the top! Hello, Cristi Chivu appeared in the circuit only after he was 17, at U18!
“It was a complicated period, because it caught the Covid Pandemia and the selections immediately subsequently,” stresses the attacker's father. In addition, Olt County lost in 2022 the juvenile recruiter in relation to FRF, Marius Popa, the head of the junior center at CSM Slatina, who died at only 48 years old.
“We went to sessions with three counties, I was blocked when they stopped from our area only a mediocre central midfielder, which then did not reach,” confesses Bogdan.
Instead, Miu would currently be on the agenda of the Ukrainian Federation, being eligible for the nationals of the neighboring country. This is because his great-grandfather, that is, his father's grandfather, was born in Ukraine, which gives Bogdan today the legal opening and yellow-blue representatives!
The kid is upset: “I'm a bit disappointed and confused”

Bogdan Miu crosses a sensitive period due to break -up with CSM Slatina
“This is my life! I have to get over this moment. I started football at six years. I initially wanted to become a military, as my dad, but in time, I liked the lawn that I considered it my way.
And he adds: “I am a little disappointed and confused, because I did not receive any explanation from the SCM. I did my job at workouts, the promises that the young people from the Academy will be promoted massively in the future season. Suddenly, I have not seen my name on the list of players for the cantonment in Bulgaria, but I do not want to be hoped.
Sometimes I am afraid to get in the game if the opponent takes me very hard. I am thinking of not having any ugly injury. But I recalibrate quickly and I know what I have to do. I think, as an attacker, it helps me the height, the physique, the appetite to go out to combinations. I try to judge in advance how to run a phase

And he concludes: “Of the external experiences, I liked Lazio most, where I understood with my colleagues. I am convinced that the sun will come and on my street, there can be no so much injustice. I want, for the moment, to finish 12 classes, to take the BAC next summer and I can take the step forward.”
