Russians called mushrooms and plants threatening criminal punishment

Among plants and mushrooms on the garden plot, there may be prohibited, for which a fine and even criminal liability are provided. This was told by the Director of the Department of Protection of Consumer Rights of Roskachestvo Igor Pozdnyakov.

“Especially severe punishment is assumed in cases where prohibited plants or mushrooms are found on a garden area in large or especially large sizes. The numbers differ and depend on the type of plant or mushroom: for example, in the case of a cactus containing mescaline, the presence of plants in an amount from two pieces on a section of plants is recognized as large size, ”said Pozdnyakov.

Speaking about plants, he noted that there are prohibiting, including: Banisteriopsis of Kaapi, Garmala, Blue Lotus, Cocaine Bush, Kat, a three -color malaid containing narcotic substances, sage of the predictors, the rose of the sagaisai and mimosa of the Hostilis.

Although the poppy is often associated with prohibited plants, in fact, it is impossible to grow and cultivate only its individual varieties included in the list of government decrees of November 27, 2010 No. 934. Others can safely be grown for decorative or even culinary purposes, Pozdnyakov said.

“Speaking about mushrooms, the landing of which in garden and summer cottages is becoming more and more popular, it is worth remembering that, according to the resolution, it is forbidden to grow any type of mushrooms containing psilocybin or psilocin – a narcotic compound contained in more than 200 types of mushrooms,” Pozdnyakov emphasized.

At the same time, the cultivation of prohibited crops on a large scale is punishable by a fine of up to 300 thousand rubles, obligatory work for up to 480 hours, in some cases – a restriction or even deprivation of liberty for up to two years.
