Nikas Safronov met with Pope in the Vatican and gave him a picture from the International Space Station. And also received a blessing to create a personal collection for the Vatican.
A personal audience with the artist was held in the library of the Apostolic Palace. On the donated canvas shows the first place of ministry of Jorge Mario Bergolo (the name of Pope Francis at birth) in Buenos Aires.
This picture from March to September 2022 was at the ISS and circled with specialists in the orbit of the Earth. The Hero of Russia, Cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev, was assigned to the ISS station. Among other things, dad blessed Safronov to create a collection of paintings for the Vatican.
