“I thank the interim president of Romania for the trust given.
I received and accepted this appointment with honor, but especially with a deep sense of responsibility, understanding the challenges that await me and the sincere desire to contribute, with all the expertise accumulated in over 22 years of foreign policy and international relations, to the promotion and consolidation of Romania's strategic interests in a complicated international context.
The strategic partnership with the United States is and must remain a fundamental landmark of our external and security policy ”he transmitted.
This emphasizes that Romania needs “Voices that can build dialogue and collaboration bridges, both in the international relations essential for our security and development, and with all the partners who share the common values of prosperity and stability.”
Birchall remembers his studies at the Yale Law Faculty, who taught her that “The real leadership means to choose the action when others are still talking”.
“Respect, by facts, through results.
I believe in a Romania who knows its value, respects its commitments and pursues its objectives with dignity and professionalism.
Not by noise, but by results.
Not through slogans, but through real, professional, discreet, effective work.
Through the work and sacrifices of my parents (simple people from a country in a village in Prahova) but with the determination of giving their children the best dowries, education, I had the privilege of a solid academic training and a career that taught me the importance of independence and integrity.“Add it.
However Birchall states that appointment does not represent a “Public validation opportunity”but o “Responsibility to work for the country, for Romanians, with dedication, professionalism and without compromises.”
“I will continue to promote the interests of Romania and Romanians with the same seriousness, professionalism and responsibility.
And I will do it with loyalty to the Romanian state and the interests of Romania, with respect for the citizens of this country and with the conviction that Romania deserves to be an actor that matters, regional and international!
Thank you too, supporters, readers and friends of this page because, through your advice and criticism, given in good faith for so many years, you have helped me to be a better politician!
We continue the dialogue and here and we certainly continue to fight to do Romania well! I count on you! We are doing good! ”ends this.
