At least seven people were killed and over 20 were injured in a Ukrainian attack with drone on a busy market in a Russian control area in the Herson region, southern Ukraine, says the governor installed by the Russians, Vladimir Saldo, according to Reuters.

Saldo wrote on Telegram that the attack took place on Thursday morning and that the drones targeted the market in Oleșkî. He claims that after a first wave of blows the Ukrainian forces sent several drones in trying to “finish on the survivors”.

Another Russian official, quoted by the state press, claims that Ukrainian forces used dispersion against ambulances that had arrived on the spot.

Reuters said he could not confirm the accusations in an independent way. Ukrainian officials did not comment on the situation.

Russia and Ukraine accused each other of intentional attacks on civilians during the war, entered February 24 in the fourth year, but both sides deny that they would have made such attacks.

The civil victims were much more numerous on the side of the Ukrainians. The Russian attacks last month, which Moscow claims to have targeted military targets, killed 19 people in Krivoi ROG, 35 in Sum and 12 in the Kiev capital, making US President Donald Trump send to the Russian counterpart to cease.

President Trump criticized the actions of Russian forces and in a message on April 26, after a meeting with the Ukrainian counterpart, Volodimir Zelenski, at the Vatican.

“There is no reason for Putin to shoot with rockets in civilian areas, cities and localities, in the last days. It makes me think that he may not want to stop the war, only leads me, and that he must be treated differently, through” secondary sanctions “or” banking “? Too many people!”

Rodion Mirosnik, a special ambassador of the Russian Foreign Ministry, described the attack in Oleșkî as a “monstrous atrocity” that deny the speeches of Ukrainian president Volodimir Zelenski about peace.

Ukraine said he wants at least 30 days of armistice to open the way for discussions in order to ensure a fair peace. Russia did not agree with such an endeavor, but Vladimir Putin announced a unilateral cessation of fire next week for three days, and claims that Moscow is open to direct discussions with Kiev.
