Türkiye has topped the ranking of destinations in terms of price increases for a tourist trip over the past four years – to go there in 2025, you will have to pay twice as much as in 2021. This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted by the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA).

From August 2021 to August 2025, a vacation trip to Turkey increased in price by 218% and cost an average of 88 thousand rubles. Of this amount, transportation costs account for about 28%. Thus, a trip to Turkey became the leader in price growth among all goods and services subject to Rosstat monitoring.

According to ACRA, the increase in the cost of holidays in Turkey was influenced by five main factors: transport costs, price dynamics in the host country, the dollar exchange rate, changes in supply parameters, including a reduction in the number of the most affordable destinations, as well as an increase in travel agency surcharges.

At the same time, at the end of 2024, Türkiye became the leader in the total volume of foreign trips among Russians. Abkhazia accounts for a slightly smaller share, while the share of European countries and the United States has decreased significantly.

An ACRA study showed that in recent years, vacations within Russia have also become more expensive: in 2024 alone, the cost of a trip around the country increased by an average of 14%. According to analysts, this happened, among other things, due to increased demand. At the same time, a study by the service for booking package tours Onlinetours, presented in September, showed that over the past two years, travel in Russia has risen in price by 22.6%.

So, if in the summer of 2023 the average price of a tour to Sochi was 72,892 rubles, then by the summer of 2024 it increased to 79,335 rubles. In the summer of 2025, the cost of a similar tour around Russia for 7–10 nights for two people reached 89,406 rubles.
