Taekwon-do ITF, another style to Taekwondo WT, the sport practiced at the Olympic Games
It should be mentioned that Taekwon-do ITF is not the same as Taekwondo WT, the sport that is practiced at the Olympic Games, being first included in 2000, at the Sydney Olympics.
The two styles of martial arts come from the same branch, But there are differences in technique, rules and philosophy.
The founder of Taekwon-do was Choi Hong-Hi, a general of the South Korean army, who in 1979 demanded political asylum in North Korea.
