What does the division of seats look like?
According to Elections Canada data, after counting over 99 percent. Votes, liberals won 169 places in parliament. Conservatives obtained 144 seats, separatist Bloc Quebecois – 22, leftist NDP – seven, and the Greens – one. There are a total of 343 places in the Canadian parliament, and 172 seats are needed to obtain a majority.
