Poland's digitization strategy until 2035


By 2035, MC also wants to provide Poles with access to very fast internet, as well as simplify the provisions on the development of telecommunications networks by amending the megaust.
Another important element is the creation of a mobile network application fund, which will allow cooperation between public institutions, universities and industry. The strategy also provides for the development of digital competences in society, with a purpose that by 2035 85 percent. Poles had basic digital competences, and 50 percent advanced. The Ministry of Digitization also plans to establish a fund to support startups and to create an integrated financing environment for investors.
Development of e-ease
In the field of cyber security, the project assumes the creation of a central institution responsible for digital security management, as well as the development of domestic cryptographic solutions. By 2035, it is planned to introduce new e-services, such as access to e-paid and digital identity portfolio for 20 million Poles. The document also takes into account the increase in computing power for scientists and the support of young talents in the STEM area. The project also involves increasing the number of ICT specialists, with an emphasis on employing women.
Financing of the strategy is to come from various sources, such as the state budget, EU funds and private investments. A new body has also been proposed – a digitization committee to monitor the implementation of the strategy and its progress.
