Nicușor Dan resumed the accusations against Antonescu: “34 hectares were given to real estate developers”/ the replica of the accused: “either manipulated, or a slanderer of the lowest case”

The mayor General Nicușor Dan accused Crin Antonescu again, at the Digi24 debate, that, as Minister of Youth and Sport, that he approved the transfer of land in Bucharest who then arrived in the hands of real estate developer. In reply, Antonescu said that his signature does not appear on any such transaction and said about Dan that he is “either manipulated or a slanderer.”
Lasconi, about Dan, at the electoral debate: “Nicușor, a cunning child, wanted to get me out of the game because I was confusing the system” / Hard exchange of replies and accusations and between Antonescu and Dan
The dispute was amplified in the debate from the Cotroceni Palace, after Nicușor Dan characterized Crin Antonescu as “the head of the sharks of the 90s on the sports bases”. “You were a minister who gave sports bases to people like Puiu Popoviciu, Dumitru Dragomir, Mr. Paszkany. I think we will get to debate this”
“The poor Bucharest will pay the law firm”
“You have pronounced some names and if you are not officially irresponsibility, I want to discuss clearly. Yes, I was Minister of Sport who had no relationship with the people mentioned. You, as a qualified processoman, tell us what land and to whom I gave,” said Antonescu.
Nicușor Dan removed some documents that were signed by Antonescu as a minister through whom a series of lands passed from the state to the state under the youth and tourism office (BTT): 7 hectares from Herastrau Park, 7 hectares of the Tineretului Beach, 9 hectares from the Pantelimon sports base, 9 hectares from the Sports Base and 2 hectares from the Sports Base. 34 hectares. Subsequently, BTT signed sale-purchase contracts with several companies.
At the end of the list, Nicușor Dan also showed Antonescu the documents, confirming that those related to the transition to the BTT heritage belonged to him, but not those on the contracts concluded with the real estate developers.
“If I sue you now, I think that the poor people from Bucharest will pay for their money the law firm. As a minister, I have only passed the private public property of the state what manages the subordinate company, BTT. It is a very clear thing, perfectly covered legally. The activity was never called to the Prosecutor's Office, I was not accused of anything.
“They alienated some goods that belonged to us”
“The contracts were signed by your subordinates,” Nicușor Dan replied.
“Which subordinate and when they signed these documents? Date? Do you read from the contract. I treated you with all respect, but when you allow yourself, manipulated by former SRI officers in your official state, please read which underdresses, when, what contracts …” said Antonescu, after which the two continued to talk at the same time.
“Antonescu removed from the private domain several lands, two courts said he had violated the law and that his subordinates alienated some goods that belonged to us. Which is why the head of that company took 6 years in prison,” said Nicușor Dan, after the tone of the discussion was calmed.
“What subordinates, when? So I am not to blame, you say they are my subordinates. I still took some steps: I am not a shark, I did not give the sharks (…) or he is manipulated, or he is a slanderer of the lowest case,” said Antonescu.
An older duel
The dialogue between the two comes in continuation of accusations made by Nicușor Dan on April 23. “In 1999 Romania had a Minister of Youth and Sport, Crin Antonescu, and he signed a certificate of attestation for property for a company called BTT,” said Nicușor Dan showing a document signed by Crin Antonescu at that time.
Crin Antonescu responds to the accusations of Nicușor Dan: “No one was appropriated from real estate developers, sharks or other animals”
He says that, later, the acts signed by Crin Antonescu were declared illegal by the court: the first time in 2008, by the Bucharest Court, and then definitively in 2015, by the Bucharest Court of Appeal.
“Once they entered, through this proven illegal act, they entered the property of BTT, very quickly, in 2000, although this seven -hectare land, which had two components: it was a state sports ground since the years of communism, it had a piece that was the nautical club, 7,000 square meters and a piece that was tennis club and it had about 6.4 hectares. Sold by BTT to Nick Import-Export, a company controlled by a Mr. Fernando Enciu ”, accused Nicușor Dan.
“And the large piece is sold to a company Domino Impex SRL, which had in the structure of the shareholding on the wife of Mr. Bartolomeu Finiș, as the press says from that moment. Around 2010 Adrian Petrache enters the shareholding of this company. At this moment, on these seven hectares there are many restaurants that operate in the park. presidential elections.
Nicușor Dan referred to another case, from the Tineretului Beach, in the area of the Arc de Triomphe in Bucharest.
“We also have two acts signed by Crin Antonescu, signed as Minister of Youth and Sport through which these lands leave the public domain of the state. Nine Government Decision, again, initiated and signed by Minister Crin Antonescu, through which this land passes from the private property of the state owned by the National Sports Complex Lia Manoliu ”, said Nicușor Dan, presenting two documents.
The candidate of the “Romania before” Alliance, Crin Antonescu, responded to his counter -candidate, Nicuşor Dan, who accused of allowing areas of Herastrau Park and in the Arc de Triomphe area to reach real estate developers, stating that he signed some property titles because it was legal and that through these were not real estate developers.
I know that there are dignitaries, for example the general mayor of the capital who refuses to sign when he was forced to do so. But that's their problem. I respected the law, they were not ceded, no one was appropriated from real estate developers, sharks or other animals that Nicuşor Dan talks about, but a BTT society, who had a heritage that had been formed well before and which, of course, from what I understood, but long afterwards, through other judicial adventures, which is no more, press conference.
