

The mayor said he visited the Congress of the European People's Party. Klitschko met with her President Manfred Weber, with whom he was discussing the strengthening of the financial, military and diplomatic assistance of the allies to Ukraine.
According to the mayor, it also was about the importance for democracy of local self -government.
“Our partners in conversations emphasize that Ukraine, which is fighting for its European future, should not lose democratic achievements. Adhere to the principles of a democratic state,” Klitschko wrote.
On the morning of April 29, Tkachenko announced in Telegram that he was collecting the Council of Defense of Kyiv regarding how city services cope with the consequences of shelling of the Russian aggressor army.
“In the moment-we should not count on someone if the city has resources. I have patience that any planning is limited only to planning,” the head of the KGVA expressed discontent.
