This is not the reality in which we live” – he says.
According to Vance, further fights will lead Ukraine and Russia to the “demographic nightmare”. The US Vice President also explicitly emphasizes that the warfare is constantly burdened with the risk of “escalation of the conflict to the nuclear war”.
Putin announces a truce. Ukrainians answer
On Monday, Vladimir Putin announced a truce in the war in Ukraine, which is to last from the north from 7 to 8 May to midnight from 10 to 11 May “for humanitarian reasons.” This term is not accidental, because on May 9 the Russians celebrate the day of victory.
The Kremlin was answered by Ukrainians. “If Russia really wants peace, it must immediately stop the fire without waiting until May 8,” said the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.
