
There are desserts that are simply prepared, but turn out to be incredibly tasty. One of these is a magnificent apple roll with caramel. This is a real find for lovers of domestic sweets.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of apples (“Antonovka” or “Semerenko”)
- 100 g sugar
- 1 egg protein
For caramel filling:
- 500 g of apples
- 50 g butter
- 50 g of brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
How to cook:
1. Wash the apples for the pastille, cut into quarters, remove the core. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 20-25 minutes until soft.
2. Wipe hot apples through a sieve. Add sugar and boil over low heat, constantly stirring until the mass thickens.
3. Cool mashed potatoes to room temperature, add whipped protein, mix thoroughly.
4. Lay the mass with a thin layer (3-5 mm) on parchment, dry in the oven at 70 ° C 4-5 hours with a ajar door.
5. For filling, cut apples with small cubes. Melt oil with sugar, add fruits and simmer until caramelization. Pour a little cinnamon at the end.
6. The warm filling is evenly distributed along the pastille, gently turn off the roll.
7. Let it brew 2-3 hours before cutting. Keep refrigerated.
This dessert is good for both an independent treat, and in combination with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Do not forget to sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
