Traffic restrictions on Valea Oltului, Monday and Tuesday / Traffic stops one hour, in several intervals / bypass routes

CNAIR announces traffic restrictions on DN 7, Valea Oltului, Monday and Tuesday, in order to prepare the site for the construction of Lot 2 of the Sibiu – Pitesti highway. For intervals in which traffic is closed, bypass routes are established.

“Circulation restrictions for one hour on DN 7 (Valea Oltului),” announces, on Friday, CNAIR.

The company states that, on Monday and Tuesday, in the time intervals between 06:00 – 07:00, 12:00 – 13:00 and 16:00, the traffic will be closed on the Olt Valley (DN 7), between the localities of Lazaret and Boiţa, in order to prepare the site for the construction of the Sibiu – Piteşti highway, section 2 – Cornetu.

The restructures are necessary to allow the performance of the toilet works of the slope near the national road (dislocation of rocks, stones, rocks).

Road traffic will be able to take place in the intervals in which the traffic is restricted according to the following bypass routes established for all categories of vehicles, as follows:

  • For the Bucharest – Veştem and return relationship:

Bucharest → A3 → Ploiesti → DN1A → Braşov → DN 1 → Veştem – intersection with DN 7

  • For the Bucharest – A1 Simeria (Nadlac II/ Cluj) and return:

Bucharest → A1 → Pitesti → DN7 → Râmnicu Vâlcea → DN67 → Târgu Jiu → DN66 → Simeria → Road Node Simeria A1

Also, the traffic of road vehicles between Râmnicu Vâlcea and the working point at KM 245 + 500 will be held on DN7 according to the legal regulations in force.

Similarly, the traffic of road vehicles between Sibiu – Boiţa and the work point at km 247 + 500 will also be carried out.
