In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Black Limruits illegally cut down the forest for 6 million rubles

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a trial was held over the “black lumberjacks”, which illegally prepared more than 600 trees totaling 6 million rubles.

The prosecutor’s office said that in 2021, the ex-director of a logging company offered three local residents to work in logging. It was supposed to be conducted in the Yastrebovsk district forestry of the Achinsky district under the guise of harvesting wood for its own needs.

For this, the attackers were looking for residents of neighboring municipalities who refused to provide forests due to the lack of a “business” forest on their territory. These people redeemed the packages of documents and, according to their power of attorney, concluded agreements with the Achinsky forestry.

Thus, more than 600 trees managed to cut down: fir, spruce, birch and aspen. The total damage to the state flesh fund is estimated at 6 million rubles.

On this fact, a criminal case was opened on illegal trigger (part 3 of article 260 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). During the investigation, three participants in the criminal scheme jointly reimbursed 2.1 million rubles.

They did not fully admit their guilt, explaining that the illegal cutting took place, but there was no organized criminal group.

“I have become a hostage to the situation. A friend asked to sponsor the logging, and proposed to share profit in half. I did not know how he planned to get the forest, ”said the organizer of the crime.

His comrade also assured that he did not mislead anyone.

“Citizens themselves called on my announcements and offered to buy documents from them to harvest forests. They understood what they were doing. I do not agree with the charge, ”the man said.

Despite this, the court found the accomplices guilty of illegal trigger (part 3 of article 260 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and, taking into account the attitude to the deed, sentenced them from 2.5 years of compulsory work with a deduction of 10% of the wage to 2.5 years of imprisonment in a penal colony of general regime.

The tools of the crime: the Ural car, the trailer, the caterpillar tractor and the loader are confiscated to the state’s income.
